Leeds Rifles NCO's Pouch Badge

A scarce, blackened brass/white-metal, pouch badge for The 7th Yorkshire, West Riding, Rifle Volunteer Corps (Leeds) with two lug fastenings (north and south).

Note: This plate isa illustrated in Dixon Pickup's book on West York Rifle Volunteers 1859-87 (p49 reference 79).

I believe this plate originally had three screw fastenings (north, east and west), possibly a contemporary adjustment.
