Berkshire Regt HPC

A scarce, brass, helmet plate centre for The Berkshire Regiment with three of its four staple-style loop fastenings intact (the central loop is missing). Worn circa 1881-1885, as the title was changed to Royal Berkshire in 1885. KK339.
