RB Officer's HM Cap Badge

A scarce, hallmarked silver, cap badge for an officer of The Rifle Brigade with two lug fastenings (east and west). KK2019.

The reverse is marked for JRG&S (manufacturer J.R. Gaunt & Sons), Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1940.

Note: These badges frequently have a heavily polished crowned bugle at the centre. It is good to see one with crisp detail.
