1/V/Grenade/LF Shoulder Title

A four-piece, white metal, shoulder title for the 1st volunteer battalion of The Lancashire Fusiliers. Westlake 936.

There is a single hexagonal lug fastening on the 1 and the V, two standard lug fastenings (north and south) on the grenade and two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west) on the LF.

Note: Ray Westlake's book.on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles sh9ows a one-piece title. This could be a composite shoulder title, although the pieces appear contemporary.
