A rare, gilt, helmet plate for an officer of The 95th Foot (later 2nd battalion of The Sherwood Foresters, The Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment) with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). Worn circa 1878-81 only. As KK195.
