30th Foot Officer's Albert Pattern Shako Plate

A rare, gilt, Albert pattern shako plate for an officer of The 30th Foot (Cambridgeshire, later 1st battalion of The East Lancashire Regiment) with two lug fastenings (east and west). KK90.

Note: The orb is missing, as seems to be relatively common on these plates, and the sets of wire usually behind the crown are missing.
