A rare, brass, lance-cap plate for The 5th Royal Irish Lancers. As KK718 or Rowe & Carman 66.

Note: Rowe & Carman describe this as 'pattern B', the second of six plates (including four Victorian versions), without any battle honours. Four honours were awarded in 1882.
