A rare, white metal/silvered, plaid brooch for a piper of a volunteer battalion of The Royal Scots with a stout pin fastening.

Note: Curiously, this brooch has a blank scroll, which normally carries The Royal Scots title.

The central figure of St Andrew looks to be have been applied/repaired somewhat crudely.  read more
